DMR Vocoding (AMBE) - Bookmarked during a discussion on tinkering with DMR for learning purposes. The discussion focused around starting with reading around vocoders.
One can build a digital-voice repeater using an open source multi-mode modem running on Arduino and other ARM-based devices. Supposedly works for DMR, D-Star, NXDN, etc. MMDVM modem host and firmware. More practical info on Brandmeister’s wiki.
